Microsoft doesn't allow a journaling mailbox to be created on Microsoft Exchange Online the way it could be on on-premises Microsoft Exchange Server. Don't worry Grotabyte got you covered with the following options:

BCC Archiving: This option allows all internal and external emails to be captured in a mailbox, and the Grotabyte agent extract and archives those messages securely to Grotabyte Archive.

On-Premise Exchange Journal Mailbox: If On-premise Exchange Server is still commissioned, then the journal mailbox could be created and configured to receive all emails flowing through Microsoft Exchange Online.

Grotabyte Journal Mailbox: The third option is to utilize the Grotabyte mailbox service to set up a journaling mailbox that would securely receive messages from Microsoft Exchange Online and store them on AWS WorkMail. From there Grotabyte agent would extract and permanently delete the message from AWS WorkMail after a successful archive.
